About Michele
Twenty-five years in industry, and still learning
I've spent more than 25 years working in industry, most recently as Finance Director of a major UK manufacturing business for six years, with full board-level responsibility.
Along the way I've worked with organisations of very different sizes, from smaller local businesses to large international groups, mainly in manufacturing, chemicals, energy and industrial sectors.
I'm CIMA-qualified, but the most useful things I've learned haven't come from a textbook. They've come from sitting with operations and commercial teams, understanding how the business actually runs, and working out what the numbers are really telling us.
